You don’t want to live this way. You really want to thrive and this tiredness just gets in the way!
Is it the busy schedule, the job, the kids, the weather, etc.? And you don’t feel any better if go to bed early or take naps? And you’re still overly exhausted all the time? Nothing seems to help!
This could indicate that you have Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), a condition that is totally treatable. Other symptoms include loud chronic snoring, breathing pauses while sleeping, choking or gasping when waking up, high blood pressure, drowsy driving, constant movement while sleeping, bad memory, and feeling groggy when you awake.
OSA is a condition in which people stop breathing repeatedly during sleep because the airway closes. The brain knows when this happens and goes to work to save your life! Many times, the heart actually stops beating during this time—it goes “flatline”. Is this the cause of someone who dies of “natural causes” at the age of 62?? Then there’s the big choke or gasp to get air into the lungs and hopefully the heart starts to beat again. And this may be happening several times every hour all night long.
